The Cocoabean Shoppe

The Cocoa Bean Shoppe is the newest little gem in Niagara Falls.  Not only do they offer the finest chocolates in the Niagara Region, but they also have gourmet ice cream, dedicate chocolate body products, and the fabulous Truffle cakes. 

Craig and Alison (a father and daughter team) originally opened their doors at the Seaway Mall in 2007 and in June 2009 they created their new home at 4400 Queen Street. The new Shoppe has a Victorian feel – complete with their own little house to make the chocolates!  This new store has the look and feel that they always dreamed for – an old-fashioned chocolate Shoppe that everyone can call home. 

During the winter months they focus on their first love – CHOCOLATE!  Craig has been making chocolates for over 20 years as gifts for family and friends and decided in 2007 to take his hobby to the next step with his daughter Alison by opening The Cocoa Bean Shoppe.  Since opening the Shoppe both have gained a greater respect for this luscious food – after all, the word cocoa is Greek and means “gift from God”.  Both love to experiment with chocolate and have fun coming up with new creations.

One of their most unique creations to date is their Truffle Wedding Cake – a hollow chocolate shell filled with their handmade truffles for each guest.  Of course, these ‘chocolate piñatas’ can be used for other occasions including birthdays, bachelorette parties, and wedding anniversaries.  They are truly a chocolate lovers’ dream! 

Currently, they are looking forward to reopening their patio where everyone can enjoy some locally made Gourmet Ice Cream on a hot summer’s day.  They are excited to welcome all of the local sports teams to celebrate their victories after games and practices.  As the local ice cream parlor this will definitely be everyone’s favorite stop this summer!
